There are various apps we can use to access our devices, such as motors, encoders, CANIVORES, and more. Ever wondered how we got the IDs for our devices? We set them through apps such as the ones we'll mention below.
REV Hardware Client
REV Hardware Client is an app made by REV Robotics that lets us configure REV devices (Sparks, RoboRIOS, etc.) It lets us access and set our devices' properties (ex: a Spark motor's ID or its encoder's angle)
How do we Access a Device?
To access a device, we simply need to plug in our computer to the device itself through a cable. Usually, most REV devices, like the NEO VORTEX motor we are using have some sort of port to plug a cable into (ex: the USB-C port on the motor)
