Depots

There are 12 alliance neutral depots, one red alliance cooperation depot, and one blue alliance cooperation depot.

The alliance neutral depots can hold one gamepiece at a time

In order for an alliance to score in the alliance neutral depot, they must have their game piece be fully supported by the elevated portion of the depot, which earns 5 points. (with overhangs allowed).

The alliance-specific cooperation depots may only have their matching alliance gamepieces scored in them. If an alliance scores their color game piece into an opposing alliance’s colored depot, they will not get any points and will receive a 5-point foul.

If both alliances place one of their gamepieces into their colored depot, the requirement for the Shipping Ranking Point will go down from 12 to 9 game pieces.

Alliance-specific depots aren’t worth any points by themselves.

If an alliance neutral depot has a gamepiece in it, the opposing alliance may de-score it and then replace it with their own gamepiece, resulting in the first alliance losing the initial 5 points and the new alliance gaining 5.
